The Department of Islamic Affairs in the Emirate of Sharjah was established by Emiri Decree No. (27) for the year 2008 AD by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah - may God protect him - then Emiri Decree No. (2) of 2010 was issued Regarding the organization of the work of Islamic affairs in Sharjah, where the advocacy and awareness work was assigned to it, and the care of mosques in the emirate. The Department of Islamic Affairs in Sharjah seeks to inform the people of the call of God Almighty with wisdom and good advice, to facilitate the holding of rituals of prayer in congregation in the mosques, and to provide all services and facilities to enable the performance of the obligatory duty in an atmosphere of faith.
